Meta & The Cornerstones

As a teenager, he rapped in the streets of Dakar under the name of Meta crazy. He joined New York for music, and discovered the roots-rock-reggae, transplanted in the United States by the Jamaican exodus. Meta began to experiment with music from the sounds he listened to throughout his life, alongside a solid group of instrumentalists from around the world that he gathered together. It interlaces the sonorities with the many afrobeat and Latin melodies everywhere present in New York. That’s how he creates meta and the cornerstones.
