For nearly 15 years, the Besançon-based sound system Rootikal Vibes HiFi has been rocking concert halls and festivals throughout France. Always accompanied by their powerful sound system, designed specifically for reggae and dub, the collective’s members will also bring their vinyl collection, dubplates, and exclusive tracks from their producer Jah Baker.
Blackboard Jungle is a Rouen-based collective founded in 1994 through a 100% reggae radio show, now composed of Nico, MC Oliva aka Rootical 45, and Guillaume. In 1999, Blackboard Jungle built its own broadcast system, which over the years has grown to become one of the largest in Europe. For over 20 years, the collective has been hosting numerous events and traveling the world, spreading the good vibes of reggae music and its message of peace, love, and unity under the Rastafari banner. Blackboard’s sound system plays roots and militant reggae from the 70s to today’s Steppa Dub, as well as exclusive instrumental versions specially designed for live sessions.
